Calculators for electrocatalysis

Five small calculators for the numbers that go into an electrocatalysis paper. Everything is computed in your browser. Each one shows the formula it uses, so you can check it by hand. The background is in Lesson 3.

Sources for the values used

  1. Reference electrode potentials vs SHE at 25 °C, as tabulated by instrument makers, for example Metrohm Autolab application note AN-EC-002, and in A. J. Bard, L. R. Faulkner, Electrochemical Methods, 2nd ed., Wiley, 2001.

These tools are for learning and quick checks. For a paper, keep the raw data and the full calculation in your lab notebook, and state every assumption (reference value, Ru and how it was measured, Cs, flow calibration) in the methods.
